186 Bible Reading Plan — Day 23

📆 23 – 💎11 Jesus takes what you have and turns it into more. In chapter 8 of Mark’s Gospel, Jesus is moved with compassion for the people. He has always been compassionate but this time He is moved to create a miracle on their behalf.

They don’t have a clue as to how they will eat, but Jesus knows exactly what to do.

A few fishes and loaves = more than enough for God!

Don’t get confused, this passage is not a lesson about WHAT you have, but about WHO you have.

With Jesus, you have every thing you need (and a little bit extra).

It’s not a formula for your success, it’s a faith that produces more faith.

This story is for those who believe and trust in Jesus to provide for their every need.

God wants to give you the best gift of all, His Holy Spirit. Jesus said, if we identify what a good father is by how he cares for his family, we know a true God by how He cares for His children.

Won’t your father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask?

The answer is yes!

Receive the words of Jesus and ask the Holy Spirit to come into your life and change you!

God is good and He’ll do it.

Remember, the Word of God speaks most clearly when you are reading the Bible.
